Over all the dashboard indicates positive news for the valley. The unemployment rate fell in all three counties as both the labor force and total employment increased for November. Total spending as proxied by county sales tax revenue increased in all three counties and so too did new vehicle registrations for the month of December, which possibly indicates stronger aggregate demand moving into 2011. The housing market remains tenuous as changes in median home price was mixed across the three counties and the number of homes sold fell from last year in all counties for the month of December.
